WARNING PLEASE STAY AWAY...I went to the salon with a groupon for highlights and was seen by Mercedes..she gave me a consultation saying she was an expert. She advised me that it would be better for her to start over with my hair because the previous color and highlights i had she wouldnt be able to match it accurately...i was in heaitation but i did it anyway and was charged over 100$ plus the $75 Groupon. She showed me pictures on what would fit me and we agreed on one. When she finished i took a look and it was far from what we had discussed.. chicolate hair turned into blonde with platinum white streeks.. i told her that is not what i asked for and i did not like it. She told me it could be fixed with toner. When it was still not to my liking she told me she would have to charge more money for futher services but she will blow dry it. As it was over 5 hours there and she was in a rush to leave home, she dlew dried it and then charged me for it without my permission. When i went home i noticednit was all different colors but what do i know so i went to two different salons for different opinions and they both told me the same thing. She over processed the highlights using a drier and i was lucky my hair did not burn off. She has more then 3 different shades of colors with different color strips on it...lets not forget she goes scissor happy and the cut was horrible...i now have to wait six weeks before i can get my hair fixed... i usually do not write reviews bit i do not want others to waste their money get scamed and regret their decision for change...
I usually don't write reviews but I just felt the need to do so. I had a Groupon coupon and went for mani and pedi.. if I go with a coupon it's obviously because I am not trying to spend much and don't have that much money. So the lady was nice but it really bothered me that she was trying to make me purchase all this other stuff...I was asked to purchase gel color, some peeling for my foot, massage, and eye brow waxing. I was grateful because she was really nice and had a nice convo with her but I strongly disliked my "French mani/pedi" nails... it doesn't look professional at all it literally looks like my daughter painted them I actually wish I could post a picture. Then when I go pay for the unprofessional looking mani and pedi I got I also got charged tax of $3 for Groupon... I didn't even know there was tax on that coupon.. then on top I had to leave a tip because I am so nice and now I'm mad that I wasted my time and extra money on it because I really don't like it. But she was nice so I'll give her that .. sorry just being honest. I really don't recommend to get French mani/pedi here you might as well do it at home.
Love how Mercedes cuts and styles my hair. Been going to her for about 3 years. Very nice and uses great products! My hair has been healthier after going to her. Her hair skills are great!
